Powr Labs™ Chest Heart Rate Monitor Pairing
Find your app or device and pair in minutes.
Pick your fitness app or device below and follow the simple steps. Every guide is written in plain language — no tech skills needed.
Before you pair — do this first
Skipping these is the #1 cause of failed pairing. Do them every time before connecting to a new app or device.
Put on the chest strap
Wear it snugly just below your chest muscles. The monitor only powers on when it touches your skin.
Wet the two pads
Splash water on the two textured pads on the back of the strap. This is required for accurate readings.
Clear old Bluetooth pairing
Go to Phone Settings → Bluetooth. If the monitor is listed, tap "Forget This Device." It can only connect to one thing at a time.
Always pair from inside the app
Open your fitness app and connect from its sensor or heart rate screen — never from the phone's main Bluetooth menu.
Keep other devices away
If another phone or watch nearby has paired with the monitor before, move it away or turn its Bluetooth off first.
A white light flashes for about 20 seconds after it connects, then turns off. That's completely normal — you're still connected.

Bike computers, watches & gym equipment
Tap your brand for the official pairing guide. Works with all major ANT+ and Bluetooth fitness devices.
Garmin
Works with all Garmin watches and bike computers with ANT+ or Bluetooth (2016 and newer). Pair from the Sensors menu on your device.
Garmin Connect pairing → Won't pair? Fix it → HR compatibility →Wahoo (ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM)
Works with all Wahoo ELEMNT bike computers via ANT+ and Bluetooth. Pair from the Sensors screen in the ELEMNT Companion app or directly on the device.
ELEMNT / BOLT / ROAM pairing → Download the Wahoo app →Polar
Works with Polar Vantage, Grit X, Ignite, and Pacer watches, and Polar bike computers. Pair via Bluetooth from the Sensors menu.
Polar watch pairing → Polar Beat app →Peloton Equipment
Works with Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Row. Pair directly from the touchscreen during a class.
Peloton heart rate pairing → Peloton app →Apple Health
Apple Health does not pair directly with chest monitors without an Apple Watch. Instead, use a compatible app like Strava or Elite HRV — it feeds your data into Apple Health automatically.
Strava + Apple Watch guide →Other Smart Watches
Most Bluetooth smart watches support outside heart rate monitors. Check your watch's Sensors or Health menu. Works with Suunto, COROS, Bryton, and most ANT+ or Bluetooth watches.

Your monitor broadcasts on Bluetooth and ANT+ at the same time, so you don't switch modes. Here's a simple guide.
📱 Use Bluetooth when…
- Connecting to a phone app (Strava, Elite HRV, Polar Beat).
- Pairing with a Peloton bike or tread.
- Connecting to most modern smart watches.
- Using Zwift on a phone or tablet.
📡 Use ANT+ when…
- Connecting to a Garmin bike computer or watch.
- Pairing with a Wahoo ELEMNT bike computer.
- Using Zwift on a PC or Mac with an ANT+ dongle.
- Bluetooth gives shaky readings — switch and try ANT+.
Both broadcast at the same time — no mode switching needed. If one gives poor results, switch to the other inside your app or device settings. Full list at thisisant.com/directory.
Important notes
Google Fit was shut down in 2024 and is no longer available. Use Strava, Elite HRV, or Apple Health (through a compatible app) instead.
Apple Health doesn't pair directly with chest monitors. Use a compatible app like Strava, Elite HRV, or Polar Beat, which then syncs your data to Apple Health automatically.
One connection at a time. If the monitor is connected to your phone's Bluetooth, your watch or app can't connect. Always use the app's sensor menu, not the phone's Bluetooth settings.
HRV / R-R intervals. The Chest HRM captures full R-R interval data for Heart Rate Variability in apps like Elite HRV and Heart Graph.
