Before you buy
Where does it mount?
On the front or rear wheel hub. Wrap the adjustable rubber bracket around the hub shell, seat the sensor in it, and you are done. No magnets and no tools.
How do I pair it?
Shake the sensor and watch for the LED to blink. Add a speed sensor in your app or bike computer and select Powr Labs while it is blinking. The LED switches off after 30 seconds to save battery, and once paired it reconnects automatically.
Does it work on an indoor trainer?
Yes on wheel-on trainers and rollers, mounted on the rear hub. Direct-drive trainers such as the Kickr broadcast their own speed, so on those bikes run the sensor on the front hub for outdoor rides and let the trainer report speed indoors.
Do I need to set my wheel size?
Most apps and bike computers detect it automatically or use a default. For accurate distance, enter your tire size (for example 700x25c) in the sensor settings the first time you pair.
Is it waterproof?
It is sealed against rain, sweat and dust for everyday riding indoors and out. Do not submerge it.
What battery does it use?
A replaceable lithium coin cell, installed and ready to ride out of the box.
Does it also measure cadence?
No, this is a dedicated speed sensor. Pair it with the Powr Labs bike cadence sensor if you want both.
What is the warranty and return policy?
